• Present a higher angle of view than isometric drawings

• Use 45°- 45° , 30°- 60°

• In 45°- 45° plan oblique, both sets of vertical

planes receive equal emphasis

• In 30°- 60°plan oblique, one principal set of vertical planes receives more emphasis than the other
