For this assignment, we are need to explore our sketching or rendering skill on a very tiny details

There are 4 element we could select as our assignment. 

They are:

Shoes

Leaf

Beetle

I have selected to sketch and render my watch at first.. 

Due to I do not much like to death stuff. 

Then... 

I changed to beetle because I love insect .. 

This is my finalised art work. 

I have done lot of research on how to render it.

I have friend that keep beetle as his pet.

Due to wanna create it way much realistic, then I borrow it from him.

I am always post my artwork up to instagram..

Surprisingly that, I got a re-post by "the.unknown.artists"

This was my first time for getting re-post by other artwork account.

Tonal Values Exercises:

Arrange on a table at least 6 common items such as: Pencils, paperclips, coins, keys, watch, scissors, pencil sharpener. (Any 6 items that we have it on hand.)These objects may overlap each other in your arrangement. Create an interesting composition for these objects; take care to record the proportions of each object and their size relative to one and another. Achieve depth with scale and overlap.

This was my first submission

yet due to get only 5/10 marks..

I wish to have much better out come 

Then I decided to redo....

This is my redo for the excerise.. 

I was quite disappointed with my marks again due to get the same marks with the previous one although I get some good comments from my redo work.
