In the past few weeks, we were given a task which required to work in a group of 4. It was actually one of the huge and tough group assignment we faced . We were required to produce a report of 3K Sport Complex Subang Jaya . For the report, it could be divide into 2 sections which one is on report and the other part is on details drawings . We are made up from 4 members and they are Yang Wei Wen , Beh Zhi Ying , Tan Huey Lin and I . Then to produce the report, we split ourself into 2 group again for Beh Zhi Ying and Tan Huey Lin in charge for the report writing , whereas Yang Wen Wei and I were involved into details drawing section . The purpose of our group project is not only allow us to work together and produce a report yet it is like a test for us to produce what we had learn so far during our semester 1 to now; included what we have learn in details drawing class . We do learn about how to work together and help out along other group members which mean our classmates “to out our own emotions aside and look through into cooperate prospective. During four of us were conducting our project, the questions came up of how to organise our sessions , how to start off , how does it needs to be , what we do need to include in report and how to done a great job in report by not left off any informations .
When we first got the task , we did struggle a lot and felt un familiar with it since we never work on on such a huge project before. For my park which in charge in the details drawing part, I did face a comment issues which “ how do I start ? , What should I do? and so on.” Since I have a little background knowledge about drawing field, I do try my best to apply what I have learnt so far. As in by looked through the sketch on of the dimensions for how to construct a drawing for plan , section , elevation , 3D and detail drawing out . By the sketch and photographs that my group had took during the site visits of 3K Sports Complex , the Cafe zone , Wen Wei and I were trying to figure it out by started off with get the total of the dimensions in X axis and Y axis then we constructed our grid lines . Then slowly , we sketch our first draft out.

Then I have left it to my drawing partner , Wen Wei to constructed it out correctly. After she has done the first draft , she passed it to me for double check of finalisation.

By those all has been passed to her to work on , I continue in sections part and evelation which are in charge by me. I have done my first draft of evelation . By for this part , I do really struggle a lot and I did actually went back to 3K to restudy that place for produce a accurate and correct drawing.

The reason why i did not work on section part was because of have to wait for the grand floor plan and mezzanine floor plan are totally done then I just could get to proceed section drawings. After Wen Wei has done for both , Here the time I started off my section X-X . It was a tough work due to for the actual one , I did quite not really good in doing section during my semester 2 . Here is my first draft.

After that I did found out there are actually a lot of mistakes .

Then for the section Y-Y . it was the hardest part due to the construction and the design of the building is in irregular shape . Here is my first , second and final draft. could see it so obvious that been corrected so many times.

By done all the drawing in pencil , then we started to trace and ink our drawing in a new A3 paper by the felt tip pen of size 0.05mm. We did redraw each one of the drawing for at least 4 pieces each . It was due to the hardness of control well on the pen ink . But by this all did not causes us to give up and done a simply work for this report . We did continue to ink each of the lines patiently .

After done for the 5 “ master piece ”. We continue with produce our last 2 detail drawing. Each of us in charge in one . Wen Wei done the stair whereas , I done on the basin part. For all, through out all of this process , I am sure that two of us have a great improve in drawing and the line weight as well as the neatness . It not only because of an assignment , but also based on how to done a great work in future as well as our responsibility on doing work. We did faced a lot of difficulties while in the progress of produce the work . Yet , I am glad that we could work together and get them solved one by one. I am really lucky and appreciate to work along with them , I do able to improve and learn new stuff on them , too.

Whereas , never forget about our report members , Beh Zhi Ying and Tan Huey Lin. I did not participate in the section much due play a huge role in drawing section , yet , I do gone through some of the small part of the report which they needed and asked for help out.
